Information we process

DiscountPilot does not collect or retain customer profiles, customer contact details, payment information, or order history. To operate the app, we process Shopify installation session data, including the shop domain, access tokens, and merchant account information that Shopify provides for authentication.

We also store the shop's Cart add-order tracking embed status. This setting is used only to tell the merchant whether the theme app embed needed for the “Most recently added product” option is enabled.

How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate the merchant, provide and manage automatic discounts, and show the status of the required theme app embed. DiscountPilot does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Installation session data and the embed-status record are deleted when the app is uninstalled or when Shopify sends a shop-redaction request. We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the app.
